Hi everyone, I've been lurking and gathering info for a little while but as I start up my second marine aquarium I may as well just dive in here and stay a while.
My name is Lisa and I have a 75 gallon seahorse setup that is quickly becoming a coral tank also. I wasn't going to do corals in there but I stumbled upon a hammer at the LFS and fell head over heels for it. And now I'm loving corals too.
Stock in that tank :
2 H. Erectus (will be adding more)
2 scooter blennies
1 Green Mandarin Dragonet
1 Clarkii
1 fire fish
1 six line
1 yellow clown goby
1 pajama cardinal
3 Banner cardinals
1 cleaner shrimp
1 green brittle starfish
Hammer coral
Several leathers
Candy cane
And some that I'm not even sure what they are
Anyway, that tank is doing awesome and I'm super pleased with it but there are fish that I would LOVE to have but can't because they just won't go with my ponies. Enter the new 55g setup... This will be my reef tank. It was a Craigslist purchase so it had a lot of necessities with it... Sump, plumbing, skimmer, great lights... Just needed new bulbs. It's halfway through its cycle (which is so much easier with an established tank in the house!!!). I had no idea. Lol.
I'm really looking forward to getting this reef setup settled and playing around with it.
Nice to meet you all!!!
