Tank is a JBJ 30 gallon rimless and I believe my CUC could be better

I have 10 nerite snails and about 6-10 assorted hermits

got a cuc for diatoms which are in check now
Seeing some “green” on my rock but nothing serious (no algae, no hair etc)

Some small spots in the sand have some brown diatoms (Nothing serious)

glass need very little cleaning from any growth

Make sure you feed the hermits and provide various sized shells for them to move into. They will die off rather quickly without enough food. I like using algae wafers or little sheets of seaweed rubberbanded to a rock if they don't have enough food.

Yes you can use those too. They will sink to the bottom and the hermits will come up and have their meal. Its kinda funny to watch.
