Tank is about 2 mo old and water perimeters look good. Have live sand/rock with coral beauty,2 snowflake clowns and an orchid Dottyback. Question- being new (and having Covid) I did not think out the aquascaping . Fish ♥ their battleship but ...I want the plastic leaves out and also just received STAX rock that I’d like to add to the live rock . Trying to make the fish only tank more appealing. Do I get a quarantine tank and start moving things? Do I put the old filter in it? Thanks- I need all the help I can get.

Here’s my tank and here the Stax Rocks and I go I’d like to put in.

Nice! I have stax in my tank i mortared them together so i cycled them outside the tank. If your not doing anything like that id just rinse them and add a couple at a time while slowly removing the other stuff. I dont know that swalping all at once would be bad specificly but i try my best to change reef things slowly.

No need to set up a QT if not adding new fish and just reaquascaping. If that’s all you’re doing you can remove your old scape first than catch the fish you have to place in a bucket for the time being while you set your scape! If not catching them you can just scape with them in the tank.
