Hey! So I have a 20g long with a ai prime light set on a nano tank preset. I noticed I have some brown algae? I do have a clean up crew. 5 snails (various), emerald crab and cleaner shrimp. What should I do? Is it normal? Google often overwhelms me with info.

That's fair enough. Different people here will also tell you different things lol. XD

For me algae is normal, I don't go out of my way to eradicate them. I just feel it is not really worth the effort. Imo so long as it is not smothering anything you care about, it's fine. I find it's just natural progression of things.

Manual removal and good coral growth will eventually keep their populations in check.

I used to have masses of hair algae and cyano growing everywhere. Now I worry my cuc starves.

That's pretty normal! Just wait a bit an it will blow over. For me it was around 2 months until it blew over. If you have snails and crabs it will probably be less. Definitely not as bad as mine was.
