Filled my tank yesterday and today the cloudiness has gone, replaced by a layer of dust over everything - the rocks, powerheads, even the bottom of the sump compartments. What’s the best way of sorting this or will it take care of itself?

How long did you mix your salt before you transferred it into the tank?
Did this come from your salt mix or from your substrate?
Did you put your water in before or after your substrate?
How much flow is in your tank now?
With the above info we can give you a much better answer.

Ime it went away over time, water changes and the use of filterfloss

Thanks guys, have given glass a clean and both filter socks a rinse - they were filthy with sediment!
