Currently have

2 clowns
full grown massive 7" cow blue eye kole tang
1 melanarus wrasse (my new 90 came with a glass lid)]

I have a pretty serious aquascape with caves cliffs overhangs galore

What are recommendations on the next fishes ?

Well I am a sucker for attention and this is now completely off the main page, I'll only do this once but gonna reply to myself to get it back up there. Lol.

Tons of coral, one condy anemone, and various snells & few hermits left... their days are numbered I suspect. Nothing ornamental though

How long is the tank? If you can get a one spot foxface I highly recommend. My favourite fish by far, great personality and amazing to watch

Standard 90 g is 4' long 18 wide 24 high. very tall, lots of swimming space up top so I want an active fish. I know nothing about fox face fish - what do you like about them ?

Their very peaceful fish, wont bother any other fish except for their own kind. Thei fat pigs tho, mine eats everything and anything it can as well as grazes on algae all day and hangs out with my 2 clowns. They are big scaredy cats and hide at the smallest thing and go camo. Their spines are venomous but as soon as you put your hand in the tank they go hide so just let it be. The foxface was the reason I upgraded from a 32g to a 105 gallon and I did lots of research before I got it

It is really cool how they change color to camouflaged. Do you foresee an issue with a kole & foxface in a 90, with not enough algae to keep them fat? My kole currently leaves the tank spotless and I feed them like 8 times a day

I have a flame angel and coral beauty, great looking fish, very colorful and always on the move! Some schooling fish, chromis?

It was very scary at first for me lol, I can’t see an issue personally as long as you keep them fed good. I plan on getting a kole in the future with my foxface

It sounds like your aquascape would be perfect for some type of assessor. I've seen captive-bred ones on the market in the past year, too.

I also 2nd a one spot. I’ve had a few over my reefing hobby. While I believe I am part of the .1% that has actually gotten stung by this fish I would easily have one again. I am actually adding 4 wrasses to my 70 gallon with a melanarus already.

I’ve never heard of this species. Wow! I love the blue assessor. And they swim upside down Lolol my 3 yr old would love that. Many places are out of stock. Never seen one in LFS. Going to keep my eye out. Looks relatively hardy as long as it can hide

Which wrasse? Any specific behaviors to mimic when introducing multiples?

I am adding a excusite, yellow corris, carpenters, and lubbocks. But there are many out there that can be mixed. If you find ones you like post in the wrasse lovers thread and they can keep you on track for which ones to add and when.

Would it be silly of me in any way to keep clowns kole and 4-5 wrasse? That sounds like an active and fun tank to watch until I get my 8 footer full of tangs
