Anyone heard of these? I was at my LFS and saw these yellow zoas that looked interesting so I bought a frag and they said it was a next gen hornet... Just trying to verify they exist or if they made it up. Either way doesnt matter, I like the look of them... They are yellow with a yellow skirt... If I knew how to use my camera I would take a picture of them... LOL I will try to figure out how to get a pic of them...

would love to see a pic also. but they may have just made the name up for sales purpose

Pic? Thinking gold Midas is a possibility?

I would have a pic if I knew how to use my camera... its not working out yet LOL can only get pics under regular light and that doesnt show color well... need to get pics with actinics on... I looked up the king midas, it looks like that, but the body is more striped then totally yellow and there is a dark band around the mouth but the mouthand area around it is yellow again...

Well they dont look like either of those because the area around the mouth is yellow then a band of dark, then a yellow body (looks like it is striped) and a small darker band around that and then a yellow skirt... I need to get my camrea to work... LOL

I see what you mean.. no the skirt doesnt alternate colors... at least I dont think so... They are still a little closed up in the tank and the one that is out is the really small head... but it looks like the whole skirt is yellow... Could it be a morph of a yellow hornet or king midas of some kind?

Just went through all the zoas on there and the closest one there was the king midas, except mine has a dark ring between the mouth area and the body..

Might be a while until someone can teach me how to use the new camera... LOL I also bought one polyp of this paly that was yellow and sparkly... its really nice, but they had never seen it before so they made up a name for it... so will want an ID on that as well... :bounce:
