NFG question

A question and the use and dosing of NFG. The directions say "for aquariums smaller then 50gal, dose every 24hrs with a 25% water change between doses. It also says "for aquariums larger than 50gal dose every 5 days with a 25% water change between doses.

I have a 30-35gal qt. My question is can I dose every 48hrs instead of 24hrs with water changes and still be effective? The reason is my work schedule allows me to be off every other day and I'm gone for 24hrs. So it is impossible for me to use as directed. Would every 48hrs be a problem? Thanks for the help

Per @Humblefish recommendations I dose NFG every 24 hrs, as instructions say. I do only do a water change every 2nd dose or 48hrs. I do 25-50% WCs. The QT I use NFG in is a 40b

Ya if it only needs dosing every 5 days and daily in small aquariums it makes me wonder if my 35 gal is close enough to the threashold that it will be ok for 48 hours
