I have 2 new Kessil 700AP led fixtures still in the boxes with mounting brackets for $750 each plus shipping. Just recieved them this week for a maintenance tank and not going to need them, so thought I'd list them here and see if anyone is interested, rather than just send them back.

Why wouldn't you send them back? The mounts are $130 plus and the lights $900? Wew. I just bought one from here last week. It was 3 months old. Setting up the new trigger Emrald sump this weekend. So excited. Can't wait to get that kessil up and running. Good luck. This is a steal!!!

If there's no interest in them, then I'll send them back. I thought that if I could pass along a good deal, I'd try that first...I'm not out any money either way and always nice to try to help others if I can.

I have the canopy kit (Y33927) . Foster and Smith's normal price is $895 for the lights and $40 for the mounting kit. Total $935 plus tax.

I would be all over it but just picked up the Maxspect Ethreal with icv6 on Black Friday

You'll have to keep us posted on how you like the Maxspect.
I looked at the reviews and specifications on several fixtures before choosing the Kessil 700 and one of the things in their favor is the dense matrix led. the other thing I liked is that no matter what color rendition you choose, it automatically keeps the spectrum correct....the only reason that I don't need them is because the company I maintain the tank for already got them and installed them without telling me. There was a really informative video done by BRS that was also key in my decision. I'm not a huge fan of led's and have decided on a hybrid fixture for my own tank, or I'd be keeping one of these.
