So I had bought this a while back. Don't remember what the guy said the name was. Anyone?

It's nice deep reddish purple with dark red polyps.

kind of looks like purple valida, or maybe tricolor thats still coloring up? They wouldn't have red polyps but hard to tell from the pics.

I don't think it's tri color. Purple valida rings a bell. Let me try to get some better pics. It's in the back of the tank.

Maybe a valida? But the branches growth are slightly different.. is it in high flow?

Yeah some what high. I will get some better pics. Looking at images of other validias I don't think it's one.

You said the polyps were dark red? I had a RR stag that looked somewhat similar to this, but I don't think that's what it is. Time will tell when it colors up a little more, my best bet is Purple Valida

Looks like acropora nana. Validia grows a little different and are normally better colored. Nana look amazing with really high light and the tip coloration runs down the branch a long way with lots of which in the branches. Hard to get them to look like that though.
