I was cleaning the filters in my overflow box today and found a nice little RBTA clinging to the sponge! I had no idea anyone had split and can't imagine how it made it through the plastic mesh - but there it was. Hes been there a while as he is bleached out to a hot pink - but hes very much alive, took some pellets and settled right down in the frag tank.

How it made it so long in the dark and less than a half inch of water is beyond me - but it was a nice little surprise.

Very nice and definitely a tough little guy. Hope it enjoys it's new home :)

That's awesome!! Good thing you found him. Just remember to transition it to the lighting. You wouldn't want it to disappear back into the rocks or overflow.

Hey all - thanks!

I built him a little "bird cage" to keep him from wandering as there's too much flow in my frag tank. This is the moving-ist nem I've ever seen. He circles the cage always going to the side where he can get the most light. (I run my lights on this tank at night) even hanging upside down from the top then the light reflecting from the gravel is the brightest thing around.

Totally light starved.

Do you have any pics? Is it inflated. I'm excited for you :) I love anemones.

I came home from work and found he had escaped and was sitting on the outside of his "birdcage"

Houdini it is!

Definitely a very fitting name for this little guy.

Amazing! It looks pretty good considering everything it has been through.

Looking good to be honest, still light in color but seems to be doing well all things considered! Awesome find!

He escaped again! This time he was no where to be seen. This tank has six jumbo korelias so I figured he was chopped up for sure. I checked figuring to find something of him- no - I checked the filter sock - no Houdini - I took apart the return overflows - no Houdini. Under the racks - nope. I was late for work.

I found an excuse to come home for lunch - and there is is sitting right up front in the middle of a zoa rock.

No more cages for Houdini. He's free...
