Who has the nicest clownfish?
who breeds and sells the nicest clownfish?
well we all know that the most expensive clownfish is the Lighting maroon clownfish (in the USA) is it the nicest?
on your opinion who has the
nicest clownfish?
on your opinion who sell the nicest clownfish?

this is a VERY loaded question, for many, many reasons. take a look around and the "nicest" clownfish are the ones you like the most. nobody can tell you what is the "nicest". Also, to what/which clowns are you referring? Percs., occys., hybrids, etc That being said, im assuming you know the usual suspects, and places to find some of the best clowns around. I have my personal faves but heres a list of some clown vendors here and beyond:
ORA
SA
S&R
Alpha Aquaculture
clownfish depot
iBluewater
BlueZoo

You have a good point what is nice for you may not be for others
I personally like Picasso's

I've always dealt with Ora. IMO and this is simply my opinion they have the best colors on their clowns. My lfs only orders from them and gets some amazing clowns in. I was boring and bought two premium onxy but now I'm very happy with the purchase. They are a beautiful dark black and orange and little spots of white. They didn't cost an arm and a leg either.

personally, out of all the clowns, I prefer the maroon clown, can't tell you why, I just do.

It just to be my favor but they get so aggressive I had a pair years ago and every time
I got my hand in the tank they bit me every single time

Nice I like the random white spot in the fish first time I seen an onyx with white dots like that

Ohio reefer you are right about ORA they have some good fish and prices my Lfs got me a pair a few years ago they where picture perfect (Picasso's) I sold it to JCA when they star laying eggs and believe me is been two year and I still regret it

For some reason I've never gotten on the Picasso train. They're beautiful but not my cup of tea. Might just be that I like Darwin or black occelarris more. I've always liked when clowns have more black on them. That's the only reason I bought my onxy.

on your opinion who has the nicest clownfish?

I think this question should be based on breed. For example... Who has the nicest Snowflakes? or Who has the nicest Picassos? And then what does nice mean? Is nice a question about pattern rarity or about genetic conformation? I see lots of rare patterned clownfish that are deformed. Or is nice just a feeling that someone gets when they see a clownfish they really like. I believe that every breeder produces the nicest clownfish. Every breeder will get select individuals in each clutch that stand out. Some breeders produce more fish than other breeders and will in turn produce more of these nice select individuals than others.

I've seen Rich's ORA Picasso pair in person and they definitely are exceptional. Rich has a ton of really nice fish.

Last post on this thread for awhile I promise :) I'm not sure what are spots on the fish and what are bubbles on the bag. Could you please post a clearer photo of the little spots of white you describe on these Onyx? I'm really interested.

I meant orange spots. The male has completely black fins and then two orange circles in the middle of them. Why we call him spots.
