I seem to have elevated nickel in both my tank and my RO.

Tank: 9.41 μg / l

RO holding container: 6.74 μg / l

I did a ICP test 6 months ago and there was no nickel detected. What stage in the RODI takes out the nickel? The carbon is brand new. The resin needed to be changed and has since been. Would that explain it? The water was still coming out as 0 TDS, but the color changing resin was pretty brown. It was also taken from my auto top off container, which has a pump in it, but the pump is only 8ish months old and I looked at it and see no rusting etc.

Thanks

The tds was still reading 0 and there was still about an inch of blue resin left. But the icp also showed silicates in the ro, so I'm assuming it was pretty depleted. I just wasnt sure if its the carbon or resin that removed nickel.
