Hello,
I am currently using an Aqamai LRS 100w light over my IM 50 Lagoon. Dims: 30w x 24d x 16h. It has been a great light so far, with soft and lps doing well in general for the last year.
I added a RBTA a few months ago that settled at the top of the rock near the surface. I just added a Digi frag that I mounted in the top 1/3 of the rock.
So I’m thinking I need a bit more power from my light. I figured I would add a second Aqamai light at some point, but it looks like Hydor gave up on it. Id love to add some Radions or Ai 32s, but I’m seeing a lot of good things about the NiCrew for their price(and I don’t have an extra $1000+ for lights at the moment). Now that they have a controller, it seems even more appealing.
Any thoughts on this light in general? PAR levels, spread, etc? Would it be a nice upgrade from my 100w, or should I be looking add two 100w lights?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
