Nicrew Hyperreef 150 Controller Dumb Question

In past setups I've only ever used reeflink because I've never had to deal with hyperreef before.

Currently, I have a hyperreef 150 and to my understanding that is the manufacturers controller.

So, here is my question, can the light remember instructions even when the controller is not on or functioning?

From what I remember of past lights, the lights would remember the schedule even if the controller was unplugged.

Is this the case with Nicrew's Hyperreef?

I emailed them a day or two ago (before placing my order). They said the lights do not store information so when it is unplugged from the controller it will go to front touch screen control and not your scheduled routine. P.s. mine come today!

Noted. I've been using mine on a FOWLR tank. So no corals in this tank. Seems great in this capacity but for me to put corals in I'd want controllability.
