I have a Niger Trigger fish with a white spot. I’ve had him for 3 months now and he’s been in perfect health. The spot hasn’t multiplied or changed in size. It’s hard to tell in the photo but it looks fuzzy ish. No other fish has the spot and everyone has been eating. I don’t think it’s Ich, i’m just not sure on if it’s bacterial or fungus infection. What do you guys think? Thank you!

This looks like an external object such as sand and even has the appearance of a baby asterina star.
Keep an eye on it for progressive dots which im convinced you wont see. You can attempt to approach niger with a net and this may even fall of is asterina or sand grain

It could also be a damaged scale or a bit of Lymphocystis virus.

As long as it doesn’t grow or spread, don’t try to treat it, you could end up doing more harm than good.

Not an asterina- looks like one as an example of appearance.
