Hi guys what kind of macro lens would I get? I am new to photography but have started a frag business and need to better way to take pictures. The tank is 30cm deep.
The cheaper the better. I also have a Samsung s9 plus which I am thinking of using instead. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.

I just bought the tamron 90mm. A lot of guys in the hobby use it and take beautiful macro shots. It's not the cheapest, but also far from the most expensive. I was able to buy one on Amazon as "like new" condition for $287. I also had $200 rewards, but regardless, $287 is a great price for this quality lens! I don't think the box was ever actually opened and the lens had not been used.

Oh I forgot to mention I'm in Australia soz. I'll check if I can get one but that will probably be like 400$ here.[emoji24]

Ahhh. Yeah that will probably definitely have an impact on price. It is a lens that has been around for quite a while (years and years) and there is also an updated version of it out now. That may help on the availability and price if you can find a used one in good shape or even new. There are some other decent macro lenses out there, hopefully others will chime in.

That's it! With it being around for a number of years, that helps out on the price for sure. They still list around $600 brand spankin new, but there's a lot of them out there.

Ahh the gold coast! I worked over in Australia for about a year and was at the Gold Coast during university spring break. It was awesome! Lol

If you google that lens with reef tank you can see some examples of the types of photos it takes. I have only had it a few weeks and really haven't had time to mess with it much. There are several guys here that have this lens and the pictures they take with it are amazing! It also makes a nice portrait lens if that helps for the money part. :-)
