Nipple like growth on elegance

My elegance coral hasn’t been opening up fully for the last couple weeks, then today I noticed this nipple like growth on the side of the skeleton. Anyone know what’s going on here?

No I haven’t dipped it yet, but I’ll keep an eye on it and hopefully it isn’t EEFW
