NitraPhos minus vs NoPox and effect on anemone

So, got 2 BTA 2 weeks ago. All good, the first few days moving around and opening. In the end both found a spot and opening every day. Last week on friday bought NitraPhos minus from Aqua forest to lower my levels ( nitrats 50, phosphat 3 ). I dose every day. On the second day after starting to dose, my anemones stopped opening close to none. I read an old thread about NoPox that it might affect anemone, because of the carbon. NitraPhos must have the same base, carbon. Anyone know for sure from personal experience if NitraPhos or/ and NoPox affect like this anemone? Cheers.

So it should be the same for NitraPhos, will reduce the dosage a bit then. Thanks.

My experience with NoPox was that once bacterial balance is restored, nitrate and phosphate are consumed pretty quickly. I started at 1/2 the recommended dosage and reduced further as I approached 10 ppm NO3. I was also dosing Prodibio weekly which I think helps with the bacterial balance part.

So, low dose.

I did have a montipora that I lost in the process. I 100% attribute the loss to the NoPox. Useless theory on my part but I think the alcohols in NoPox can be harsh at higher concentrations. So if you can split your doses out or put the NoPox on a doser, that is best.

Thanks a lot. Jut just to be clear, I am not using Nopox, I am using NitraPhos. But must be the same logic, so I will reduce dosing to half from tomorrow. I care to much for my anemone.

Half dose today. We will see. One of the anemone got dinner last night, hungry like hell haha. The other one moved again on a better spot. Will do my best to feed it today. Thanks for the advice.
