Ok so my nitrates always seem to be 25 or better i once saw them dip but it didn’t take long for them to go back up! I’d like to see between 10-15nitrates. Especially with my recent addiction of a chalice.

with a filter pad help?

I only feed every three days with reef roofs twice a week.

I have a 16g aio and a 2.5 fuge. I run a reef glass nano skimmer.
Would running filter / floss pad help

Is this a LPS or SPS tank? Besides the chalice. 25ppm is ok imo, but water changes will bring it down.

Ai my tank is zoas, a hammer, Skittle bomb cyphastrea, one rainbow chalice and a pulsing Xenia

Without water changes, the easiest options are: an adequate amount of mature live rock, a sand bed at least a couple inches deep, carbon dosing (with vinegar, vodka, or commercial variety).

With that stock you are benefiting from 25ppm imo.
Ok well I’ll just leave it for now. I really wanna get away from weekly water changes. So I’ll monitor over this weekend and see what happens.
