Is it possible for nitrates to go down from 4.7ppm to 0.6 in 2 days?! I have a new tank with two juvenile clowns and two small plate corals and two snails. I measured 4.7 ppm nitrate after my water change using the Hanna checker and I measured 0.6ppm now. The clowns haven’t really eaten much with pellet and I fed them some mysis today which they ate

I would not read too much into it. Especially if using the high range checker. At least in theory your nitrates could have been ~2.5 both days and those readings would be within the margin of error.

It’s the ULR checker. Just worried about my corals is all. Phosphate was 0.04
