Nitrate Dosing via ATO into KalkRx

So I've not been very consistent in manually dosing KNO3 to help drive down phosphate. Is there any downside of dosing the ATO water with KNO3 and letting it run through the KalkRx?

I’ve done exactly that with no issues. I don’t normally dose nitrates, but did when I had dino issues. Both potassium nitrate and sodium nitrate would not be a problem.

Mixing sodium or potassium nitrate into limewater (kalkwasser) is not a problem.
