Nitrate dosing volume sodium nitrate.

Hey guys I got some sodium nitrate today and just need help figuring out some math.

If I make a 5 ppm/ml solution.. how much would I need to add to a 75 gallon tank to raise my nitrates to 5 ppm total?

Ok so if I have reagent grade sodium nitrate how much would I have to add to 1 gallon of water (3.8 L) to add to my tank (75 gal) system to raise my nitrates 1 ppm ? I hate solution chemistry lol

Try one of these calculators and use the entry for potassium nitrate. It is close enough to sodium nitrate. I do not like doing the math over and over here because any typo I make might mess with someone's tank.
