I truly think you should switch up to meatier fare it will boost coral happiness
rods frozen coral mix is most avail at a pet shop and roti feast and or roti pods refrigerated is ideal, from reef nutrition. Then just occasionally use the fuel, supplemental only. That’s my feeding opinion based on your tank input history.
trick: feed them in the morning before lights on if possible
input a tiny trace of your meat food, so they smell it and put out feeders. Come back in 20 mins and actually feed the system, they’ll catch more.
then a water change in an hour or two, set for that week. The reef will cruise.
if we blast feed when theyre all closed up, they catch less. Tease em out to feed, then input some thawed reef food just a little to swirl about.
but if you double it up, two water changes two feeds per week say for 2 months, then back to norm, that’s protein cycling and it will add coral mass exactly like humans gain muscle mass from additional work + feed
you set your feed change cycle based on how you want to drive corals
I’m currently doing two a weeks
getting ready for sharp 2021 update pics lol, bulked. Beeefcake pico.
