My tank is 3 months old.
Was wondering if I should try and raise my phos & nitrates?
Tested today:
Phosphate - .037 (Hanna ultra low phosphate)
Nitrate - 0 (Salifert))

I have read that people run them higher.
If I should, what would be the most efficient way.

Thanks

I wouldn't go chasing numbers on such a young tank. Give it a few more months to stabilize. Do you have any coral in the system? Any issues with algae or dino's?

No corals. Just (5) fish. Couple of small feather dusters and small sponge that came on my live rock (only 5 lbs of live rock for seeding).
I have a little diatoms and light green algae.

No worries with no coral in the system. Just get a good cleanup crew and let the system ride on its own. Just keep up with small weekly/biweekly water changes for now.

I already have a bunch of snails. I would like to find some kind of a good sand sifting critter.

Get some nassarius snails for the sand bed. Hermit crabs are good as well for leftover food.
