Hey man!

Happy to report some minor success.

I was able to get some fresh air to the tank which cause a series of events PH related.

Temp 77.8
Salinity 33.5
PH 8.29
Alk 7.6
Cal 405
Mag 1210
P04 .01
N03 2ppm

I have my comp 123 but haven’t needed to dose because my alk never moved.

What Alk should I remain? I’m think 7.5. Then monitor it figure out how much it’s using. It’s gone from 8.6 to 7.5 in 3 days that a drop of .3 ml per day. Am I thinking through that correctly?

Hey, those numbers really look great. Lot of people underestimate the importance of fresh air and pH. Just try to hold that pH there your tank will love it. I personally try to keep the alk at 7.5 to 8 max. This gives me a bit of margin with low nutrient or any sudden imbalance. Just keep an eye on that alk.

My pleasure. I try to help people with my experience and observations. Sometime its quick but sometime it takes time. I call our tanks are evolution in a glassbox and generally that takes a bit time.
