I have a 125 Gal reef tank. I have quite a bit of live rock and live sand as the substrate. I have approx. 10 fish (tang, clown fish, dart fish, etc) I a good amount of mushroom coral which are growing very well, the rock and back glass is getting covered with red and purple coralline algae. I also have a couple candy cane soft coral which are growing. The live rock came with sponges and small feather dusters attached and they are multiplying. I have no algae blooms and very little algae growing on the glass or rock with the exception of the coralline algae, nothing that the snails and hermit crabs cant handle.

I test my water every 2 weeks and everything is within parameters, salinity is .025, calcium is 450 ppm, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, phosphates are almost non existent, barely registering on the test scale, ph is right around 8.3-8.4. I replenish evaporated water with distilled water when I can and add reef supplements. I haven't done a water change in almost two months because every time I test my water my Nitrate levels are always at 0. I have tested the water two and three times and used two different API marine test kits and Nitrates are always 0.

Not that I am complaining, but is this possible. I never had a tank that consistently had 0 nitrates for months at a time

Definitely possibly. Especially so if the sand is deep enough.
There are other reasons to change water like minor elements that can be depleted over time

Please define what those "minor elements" are. Calcium, magnesium and sodium bicarbonate (alk) are the only salt mix ingredients I'm aware of that test out consistently from brand to brand.

You are running a ULNS, which in your case is working out very well for the animals you are keeping.

There are something like 70 trace elements in sea water, such as iodine, selenium, iron, potassium, etc. It isn't clear how many of these are actually important, but lots of folks (including me) don't do water changes and instead dose trace elements.
