I have a 60 gallon tang with about 70 ponds of live rock and 40 pounds of sand. I have 5 fish, peppermint shrimp, snails and crabs. Recently I added about 3,000 copepods. Every time I check the nitrates level it reads 0, even with a fish that just died and cain't remove without tanking mu tank apart. I have some algae on my back wall, but my CUC keeps the rocks clean, my test kit is a API. Iv'e been reading that it's impossible to have 0 nitrates, is that true?

API won't read the very very low numbers.

How's that coral doing btw. I'm still jealous

Actually, it looks like it's trying to grow! I'm about to get some ReefRoids and see if it will take off.
Not sure what you feed the tank. But I feed frozen and if the pumps are off I'll just blow some of the juice at my nps and lps.
