Nitrate Remover

What brands are yall using in your Reactors to remove nitrates. And is this a good product?

I’ve tried these things before and had negative experiences. Yes they worked…too good. Caused my nitrates to crash causing a Dino outbreak. I control my nitrates with cheato. I still have to worry about nitrates falling too low but it happens at a slower pace and can be addressed without constant monitoring.

I control nitrates with water changes. Why would I buy a product to do it when I need to do the water changes anyway?
