Hi ,
i was looking at these https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/370103590297?ViewItem=&item=370103590297
they make them for 180ltr or 440ltr , but my tank is 270ltr.
could i use the bigger one and slow the drip time , or use the small one and increase the drip time?
or should i look for a more appropriate size?.
thanks mark.
also these have seperate media each reactor , ive seen they make a mix , would the mix be affective as it is all reacting in the one reactor?
and if so could i put https://www.whitecorals.com/en/-caribsea-no-no-3-no-nitrate-3,78-liter-granule-cs16222 in one of these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New...id=b104632e-9890-4042-834d-11139879e8b8&tpp=1.
thanks mark.

I used to have a korallin denitrator designed for 200g while running it on a 300+ g tank.
It will work but your media will go out quick and flow rate will eventually be not enough to keep nitrates down and you will max out on flow. you do have to keep the flow fast after it's been cycled to keep the hydrogen sulfide gas from forming inside the canister. Don't ever open it full throttle always make minor flow adjustments. I had to upgrade to a bigger unit and now I have no issues. Just my experience.

ok makes sence thanks.

I'm using a aquamaxx t3 sulfur denigrator and it works really well. My nitrates are low compare before at over 80ppm.

The trick seems easy enough but it isn't is to get the flow slow enough and steady enough and to be adjustable. The new Kamoer adjustable 24/7 peri pump seems to be a great option at 250 bucks.
