Feed the tank more, you can get the Trates up that way, feed the fish more, possibly the corals also. Other than that, your numbers look fine to me. Possibly raise your ALK a bit, if your corals are used to it being a bit higher, that can tick em off.

Nitrates are a bit low. That is not a bad thing unless you feed your lps a few times a week. I keep my trates around 10. It does not bother my sps. If you like low trates just be sure there is food in the water column for the corals. This is also true for clams.

is my skimmer to big for my tank ?
its rated it for 180g

It is a bit large for a 75 gallon total. Sps would love that clean water. If you are feeding then they will get what they need. Low trates are not a lps killer if you compensate with feedings. I also turn off main pump to allow powder food as well as liquid food to remain in tank water column for awhile before being skimmed out.

im running my skimmer as dry as possible so it wont clean thats much is that right ?

Not sure if that is right. The reaction chamber and pump are still the same. Only thing that does is lessens the amount of time to empty. The skimmer is overkill, but if you are feeding a few times a week and allowing enough time for chalices to eat. The skimmer and trate level would not matter. They would be getting enough to eat a few times a week. Try spot feeding them and allow awhile for them to eat before you turn pumps on. Is there any improvements in them?

I think that's a perfect excuse sell the wife on a 125 upgrade!

"but honey, the skimmer is too big and we must get a bigger tank" :D

i usually turn my pump off when i feed them and i always spot feed all my corals , but im gonna try to turn of my main pump off from now on to leave the food in the display for about extra 20 min and see how that works . I crashed my fauna marine LPS pallets and spot feed them and it actually worked. Yes i fed them 3 times this week and i see them covering their dead spot :)
Thank you very much for help
I still have my old skimmer but i dont think its a good skimmer , i couldnt pass on the Bubble magus special when it was for sell for $40
Why have such a good skimmer and not use it you know .

I wish i was able to find a skimmer of that size for that price. Mine is a great skimmer but would love a deal like that. Some amino acids mixed with the food may help the chalices.

i do dose Salifert amino acids once a week . When i bought the skimmer the only problem with it was the impeller was cracked and i just glued it and it was great .

My gold torch is not opening up all the way this past month even tho i feed all my LpS 2-3 times a week . My nitrates are still at 0.1 :( and the PO4 0 .
