Nitrate to phosphate ratios

What are some good guiine ratios to follow for a 20 gall mixed reef tank for phos and nitrate my current parameters are 20 nitrates and .1 phosphate. Tups on lowering nitrates?

Your not far off, and everyone will tell you different things about ratios. Water changes, increase filtration/skimming, feed less, add corals, or macro are somethings that can lower nitrate. Eventually things balance out.

+1 for just add macros. And don’t mess with or aim ratios. Just as @DrZoidburg said it will balance out.
