So I was lazy and didn't do a water change on my 110 for 3 weeks. nor did I change out the filter pad in my sump. my corals were starting to not open. Found out my nitrate test kit was bad!!! Was showing 0 ppm well my dad just got these new test strips that test 5 things at once from api. Well my nitrate was definitely close to 160. So I did a 10 gal water change last night. I dosed 20 ml vinegar and 10 ml vodka. And 10 ml of another product my dad had for his 300. I dosed vinegar and vodka again at 245. It was at 80 ppm this morning at 9 am anything else to help knock the nitrate's down? And the are no dead fish in the tank either.
