Nitrates and fish

I am unable to find anything of substance in relation to NO3 (nitrate) concentrations and fish mortality, beyond opinion of course. If anyone has a link or reference they care to share it would be appreciated. I am looking for research and data from legitimate sources and not self proclaimed scientists. Thank you
