I don't know the name of that but is not chaetomorpha I removed a walmart plastic bag of it. Like a half what I have in my sump

It has a lot of tiny bubbles

Not an expert. Especially running such a big tank.

But if it was me, I might try feeding more, and then remove maybe a quarter of the algae. And then see how things are after 2-3 weeks (for such a large tank)

Some guys like their refugiums for reasons other than just nutrient control. But I agree it is an option!

100% agreed, I have my nitrates really low due to a lot of cheeto growing like crazy with a magenta kessil light, I just reduce the timing from 10 hours to 8 during the night.
