Nitrates at Zero...help?

Am I overfiltering or underfeeding? Should I start feeding everyday now?

Look at your tank, are you happy at how your fishes and coral(s) look? If yes, stay the course and don't make any changes.

Don't go looking for trouble when there is no trouble. Having 0 nitrate on a hobby-level test kit and a good looking tank is perfect.

My frogspawn coral is looking really sad. Tested nitrates this morning after a few days of feeding the fish a bit more and I’m at 0.2ppm today.

I don’t have a microscope so I can’t confirm but I think I started getting some dinoflagellates...I noticed some brown string like stuff popping up on the sand and my frogspawn.

Might need to order a microscope to confirm.

I definitely noticed more green algae on my rocks and glass when I got home this morning. Nitrates are definitely up a little...might get some not so pretty algae but hopefully I can get it to out compete the dinos (if that’s what I have).
