Nitrates in Qt tank

Everything else in the tank is good copper the basics for water levels but my nitrates are high what do I do so I can add fish in soon.

What level are the nitrates? They have to be pretty high to be toxic to fish, and only show if the tank is effectively processing ammonia. Water changes are the best way to pull nitrates.

There really high not sure what number tested at LFS today
