Nitrates 3
Phosphates .06

How do I get these in a better ratio. Do I reduce phosphates? Phosphate RX. Increase nitrates with Nitrate dosing Brightwell? I need more fish. I want to do that in an orderly fashion not just to increase nitrates. I have offered a few times with Cyno already.

Those numbers aren’t terrible ......
what are you testing with and what’s in your tank?

I don't think the N-P ratio is a thing to worry about and definitely nothing to manage to in maintaining nutrient levels.

Managing phosphates and nitrates independently is hard enough without adding an unnecessary ratio that's never been shown to be a requirement or beneficial in anyway.

Your numbers are solid, add more fish. Let your tank adjust then see what P and N are doing and correct. But target them individually or you'll drive yourself crazy chasing numbers (and likely do more harm than good to tank stability).

Those values are fine. I would not try to change them.

Lol exactly! Out of line??? When people “chase numbers” that’s kind of exactly what they are after. I look for 5 ppm nitrate and .05- .1 phosphates personally. For my own tank, Those are the optimal values when the sps are colored BEAUTIFULLY, the zoas don’t melt and the LPS are fat and vibrant. every tank is different but your values are definitely not out of line. You’re doing fine

Currently my Po3 is at .24 according to the Hanna checker. It was .13 about 11 days ago. No3 is sitting around 2-5ppm

I feel the Po3 is high for everyone’s recommendation what’s a natural way to lower this? I did add some purple helix to boost coralline yesterday since I lost mine when the tank was moved.
