After a battle of nitrates my nitrates are now at 0! They were at 440 ppm, now zero!!!

It was a tank that I was never using, only had live rock, kept doing top offs not changes, was going to tear down, I have a digital reader so it tells me the exact number, Im going to make this a clam tank, it took only a week, I changed approximately 80 gallons over this time
