How do i keep nitrates from bottoming out to feed coral but keep from just supplying hair algae in the sump?

Get some more fish , feed more . Less water change.

I also don't get no algae in the sump . I have no light source in sump so it won't grow

It is a tricky balancing act to try to control algae by nutrient levels. Better approaches; include herbivores.

Moving from the theoretical to the actual, do you have an algae problem and what are the nutrient levels?

So i have been actually tracking all my levels on a daily basis lately trying to get nutrients above 0.0 as well as keep my other params in good standing. So long story short so
12-29 phos .07 nitrate 0.0 with 2ml of neo nitro added which eventually brought levels to 1.8

12-30
nitrate 0.0 10ml neo nitro added level brought up to 7.7
phos .05

1-1
nitrate 0.0
phos .10

I have mangroves in my sump with a light on them but at this point im just gonna shut the light off and see what happens because that seems to be the issue with the uptake in nutrients but other than that im not sure
