After nitrites not moving for 3 weeks during my cycle, from 5 they dropped to 1 today. The answer, a 20% water change. I'm assuming the high nitrites stalled the cycle. Anyway my ammonia is dropping from 1 to .25 in 12 hours, so think I should be ready for a coral catshark this week after another 40% water change to get the nitrates down. Cycle complete?
