It seems my zoanthids have developed zoa pox. Now that Furan 2 seems to be impossible to find, I started treatment with nitrofurazone. Has anyone dealt with this recently?

How did this treatment work? Currently in same situation.

just do a freshwater dip in ro temp match 15 mins

Bought it and used it. Dont like how fine the powder is and its terrible trying to mix it all up.

So it seemed to have worked. I had other issues in the tank but I’m pretty sure it saved some zoanthids and the pox eventually went away. I treated as it was furan 2. Before I put the corals back in the tank I really rinsed them good. Because the medication seemed to be really concentrated. I think I was so fed up on the last dose that I put the corals in a bucket and sprayed them down with a hose until the water ran clean

get your temp in check,,pox is mainly associated with too many temp swings. I put a Rancho temp controller in and this pox problem went away
