The polyps on this have stopped extending... They came out for a day when I got it but have since not come out at all. Is it anything to worry about?

They look extended to me. Is that a pic of it from today ?

I’ve noticed flow sometimes influences PE, as long as you are getting PE at night you good. Wait 2-3 hours after lights are off and see if you have PE

There not coming out at night either. Kind of semmi out. My other montipora frag has great pe which is odd.

How long has your system been established? Did you use live rock? Dead rock?

My system was started on dry macro rock. I didn't see good polyp extention on sensitive SPS until the tank was 12-18 months old and had developed sponges and other signs of a mature system.

It's been up since November. I used rock from my previous tank. So it was all seeded with live bacteria. It was carib sea rock with live rock mixed in. Its odd as the first two days they extended but now are not. I've just added some activated carbon to see if this helps.

Pull it out n dip it and see if any bugs come off it.

Im having the same issue. Had great PE for months now past few days barely any. I been adding carbon to the tank... Hope it changes soon.

Do you have any angel fish?
The only time it has happened to me, my dwarf was nipping my corals.
Could be a pest to?

Hows your alk levels and flow?

Alk was sitting at 7.3 so I did a small water change. Flow is good with plenty of surface agitation
