More live rock surprises and fun finds! First picture is of these skinny white structures that appeared one day and they dont ever move. The second picture is some kind of bright orange creature that does open and close (i think?)...so it has some kind of movement. What are these things?

All of them? The white and the orange things?

What are these little balls coming of the tips of these things??? Any ideas?

Haven't seen that one before.

The clam is to the right btw.

The running guess right now is that they are some kind of sponge but I dont know why its forming those balls on the tips. It looks like they are slowly getting pinched off at the ends throughout the day

This is what they look like this morning....the little balls came off???

A few q's..
Does it live in a hole in the rock?
How big is it?
How does it react to stimuli (poke it)?

I got my fingers crossed on rock boring worm "Lissomyema Mellita" ( http://www.gulfspecimen.org/specimen/echiuroidea/ ) but never seen one, can not find images of it on the Google, so I dont really know.

Looks like some kind of sponge, but I'm not 100% positive on ID.;Bookworm

So it doesnt move ever. Its been in the spot for two weeks now and it doesnt look flexible. I was surprised when all of a sudden it formed little balls on the tips and then released them slowly because there had been no change this whole time

Well Button tunicates for 99% sure. That revolver-cylinder look, color and gulf/caribbean locale.

I wonder what the white stalks could be. Maybe sponge is right.

I'd love to have those orange ones.
