It's hard to tell from the photos, but this is likely an amphipod. These "pods" are crustaceans that grow much larger than copepods and are beneficial scavengers.

Think the blue just might be your lights on a clear body pod. The sand is bluish as well.

Agreed, the sand has the blue hue as well, seen it scampering across the sand 3 weeks ago and had what the heck moment!
