Also, since this is a build forum/challenge, I will do my best to answer questions and update when I make changes. I have been running the factory filter sponge with the carbon and bio rings, and last night I cut a Poly Filter piece to go on top. I plan to change out the filter media every 2 weeks, or more if necessary. I'll try to run this tank more "CLEAN" than usual because I am reaching with the SPS specimens I have added and I usually just grow out softies and various LPS in nano tanks.

Also in addition to Coral Frenzy which I absolute love.. I am also using Red Sea Reef Energy and seem to be getting pretty good results. I've already noticed several zoa clusters having babies within 2 weeks time.

So I'm noticing some slight bleaching on a couple SPS fraglets so I am biting the bullet and ordering a Kessil and gooseneck. At that point with the $500 coral budget and the fish I am debating adding I am researching all of the AIO tanks and maybe thinking about ordering a nicer set-up.... Problem is so far my favorite option is the RedSea Max C250 which is too large for the competition and so I'd die to have the C130 but don't want to hurt my chances of winning one... I might just go for it as I think it will give my corals the best life. I also like the Elos AIO's a lot too..... Ideally I am looking for a complete plug and play. I am welcoming any options out there or suggestions!

Update.. I am still waiting on my kessil light and gooseneck.. in the mean-time I have removed the plating montipora's as they were shading the miami hurrican chalice below and there is a lack of space in this tank. I am working with all of the reciepts i've kept and LFS to get my final totals on the corals currently added. This past week I was in Rosemary Beach, FL for 1 week and met a STELLAR zoa collector and did get some ridiculously cool paly's and zoa's, that i'd love to add but unfortanately I do not have the $ out of the $500 limit available.. such as adding the 1 VOODOO Paly polyp I got that goes for $200pp... **Unless the FMKT Value as stipulated in rules would put this polyp and others in the $25 range..

Inhabitants update: I currently have 1 fish.... a PYGMY POSSUM WRASSE named "Opie", 3 pom pom crabs, 1 candy striped pistol shrimp ( who might not stay due to the re-arrangements he has been making) and 5 sexy shrimps.

Adding pictures taken yesterday and the latest water test... I actually hit first road-block with a small trace of ammonia so I did have to do a couple decent water changes then waited and this is the test without ammonia now.

this tank is on the verge of starting another cycle so i'll be doing another water change today with existing water from a DT.

Update: I briefly had a Tanaka Pygmy Possum Wrasse.. he went sky-diving yesterday while I was trimming some coral growth as a few zoas were growing onto some Acro's and a couple Acro's grew to touch eachother and one was getting burned. Luckily, I saw the plunge and scooped him up. As of last night he moved into my 175 DT, status yet to be determined.

I happened to be at the Ok-Sea aquarium store last week while they were un-boxing a large shipment of Australian Acro's. Lucky for me I noticed in shipping quite a few of them had broken "fraglets" in the bags, so I told them to set aside anything "Un-wanted" and that i'd buy. So i ended up getting a handfull of quarter inch to 1 inch pieces, some of which had already lost all hope and color but still worth a try. Also, for $20 I got a pair of Trapezia Guttata that were about to get dipped in Revive while on a pink birdsnest colony.
