No color to zoas

I have these zoas that are expanding but colorless any ideas on why

Colors look fine to me...:confused:
What colors are you looking for from them?
Not sure what lighting you are using but if you add a blue LED or Actinic t5 you might get what you are looking for.
 
Some zoanthids are just not very colorful, plain & simple. They might change over time, but maybe not.

If you look at them only a few of the polyps or color the others are all gray. I was wondering if the gray ones are going to eventually color up the same as the orange and green
 
These guys are orange and green and a few of the polyps but not the others I was wondering if the gray ones will eventually, Color or if it takes a while for them. I have another colony and when the new ones come in they come in with the same colors as the originals
 
You talking the babies? Maybe they haven't fully developed. Give then some patience. I always start new zoas at the bottom of the tank and if they take off then I know they are deepwater zoas. If they don't take off then I move them higher towards light in 1/4th increments until I find the sweet spot
