No Coralline algae

My tank has been running about 2 months its a red sea reefer 350. I moved lots of coralline covered rock from my Nano over as well as some good new live rock.

It is stocked now and has some frags all doing great. I have yet to see any Coralline at all and what was on the rocks has kinda bleached out. I feel like with my nano tank it was on the pumps and glass quick.

I will say my calcium is high 550 or something and my Alkalinity is now 7.20. I have not tested magnesium yet but have a kit coming in today.

I do run a 3 part aqua forest dosing setup and right now I have the calcium pump turned off. I have also added by hand some alkalinity (red sea kh alkalinity foundation) but it stays at 7.2

My DKH test kit is a Hannah so its very easy and accurate. Calcium is API maybe and hard to read I have the Hannah Calcium test kit coming in today

I should add I have 2 Hydra 26 lights with what seems like a good signature. The one BRS uses.

How long and whats missing for Coralline?

Define the "new live rock". I mean where's it from? Is it dry rock that's only 2mos old? Did it come from the store? Another tank?

I assume the coraline is still on the rock transferred over from the nano but your frustrated it has taken hold on your "new live rock"

I guess what I remember from my last 2 tanks is coralline showed up much quicker.

It was cured live rock from a LFS mixed with Dry Rock mixed with Rock from my Nano. I would say maybe 80 lbs of rock with about 40 being cured and having coralline on it.

Maybe its to soon I just remember it was not this long in my other tanks. Maybe this is not a question.

Maybe the un-coralined LR already has a 'coat' of live cultured material on it, and doesnt have room or the ability for coraline to grow on it (?)

Idk..... I'm not a coraline fan
