I seen this new thread on another forum.. I thought it was a FANTASTIC idea..
I would like this thread to be 100% straight from the camera pics.
NO resizing
no cropping
no editing WHAT SO EVER..
NOT EVEN WHITE BALANCE..

If you set your white balance in your camera correctly you wont need to ..

Just download from camera then up load the pic here.
I am shooting, then putting on my computer, then onto photobucket. and straight to here.no editing at all.

I want to see what kind of skills you REALLY got.

Please be honest..
I took a few today in both tanks.. here are my first ones with ABSOLUTELY NO EDITING OR RESIZING OR CROPPING..
keep in mind. these pics are from both tanks whit different lighting on each
BUT no editing

wow nice pics.. no cropping?? you got that close with a point and shoot? WOW what one do you have

Um....no offense...but *** because I don't have a fancy pants camera  . My PnS can't do white balance, but I know how to adjust the photo to make it look like it does in person.

Examples...
My beloved Canon SD400 finally died. I replaced it with a Sony DSC W290. The underwater setting on the Canon was perefct for my tank. The one on the Sony, not so much. While the Canon added red (perfect to counteract the blue lights), the Sony almost seems to ADD blue  Any tips would be appreciated. Some example pics from the Sony:
Original pics straight off the sony:

What they look like in person, after some contrast adjustment and adding red/removing blue:

And an example of the canon, with no processing at all:

now those are not bad at all the point of this thread is to see how good of a photgrapher you are. not how good of an editer some people are..
Some people ad too much saturation and color (you can tell by glowing frag plugs) .You did good. l

It's an older Pentax Optio 6 mp. It is waterproof so I am able to take pics from in the water. However, a few may be through the glass. The white balance is set to shade, and I use the camera's macro mode. I don't turn the pumps off like most do, as you can tell with the polyps on the sps.
