Totally. For me it was about availability. Mine was fake rock that was in an LFS tank for two years and it still sucked.

Yeah, don't let anyone tell you the fake rock is the same. That's BULL. Live rock is far more porous, and less hard/dense which allows marine organisms to bore into it and colonize it. Good luck doing that with fake rock. It's mostly cement or plaster, is solid and much harder and has no surface area. I have a hatred for it now because of what a scam it is for one thing, and also for how many people I see blindly walking off a cliff with it every day.

It needs to stop.
